After a bumpy few months, markets are looking to the US Federal Reserve to cut rates later this year, maybe by half a percentage point. But something might be changing. Sure, Donald Trump wants deeper, faster cuts. And now some members of the Fed board appear to be coming round to the idea of reducing borrowing costs as early as July. ING's Chief International Economist, James Knightley, has his view of what's likely to happen next.
