Dollar Index Surges By Higher-Than-Expected Inflation Buyers

Dollar Index, DX futures, up about 0.3% after the surge higher by higher-than-expected buyers of the inflation data YoY 5.4% vs. the previous 5.0%.

Dollar Index, DX futures, up about 0.3% after the surge higher by higher-than-expected buyers of the inflation data YoY 5.4% vs. the previous 5.0%. The index hitting the upper extreme of the current balanced price range on the hourly periodicity.

Higher inflation and the monthly bracket high might pressure the greenback lower while the forecast effect still keeps the bullish rotation. The POLR (path of least resistance) seems to have upside potential while a prior DVAH close level could serve as a level of selling interest.
