I think we also need to look at what will happen to productivity because shrinking of market. Decrease in population will lead to smaller markets and thus companies will cut production leading loss of jobs and a decrease in gross domestic product....this factor must also be taken into account when predicting the impact of low or no or negative population growth on national economies
