Automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz announced today new agreements with Swedish startup H2 Green Steel to supply low-carbon steel for use in vehicles in Europe, and to aim to establish a green steel supply chain in North America.

Mercedes-Benz may be returning to the days when only corporate executives and the affluent could afford to roll down the street in German luxury. That's because a new Benz reached the average price of $76,590 in 2022, a 43% increase over 2019.

We are putting money to work in Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Its sales of electric cars surged 64% last year. As well, Mercedes introduced four electric vehicles and attained the first international system approval for SAE-Level Three automated driving.

Mercedes-Benz’s price per share was $57.18 after today’s market close.  One year ago its price was $85.43 So, MBGAF’s share price fell by $28.25 or about 33% in the past year.
