The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF is great for grabbing growth. At the same time, the JP Morgan Premium Equity ETF is primed to give investors significant dividends for their retirement portfolios.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF has a big challenge because of its concentration. According to its website, 27.29% of its companies are in the technology sector. It is followed by healthcare (13.42%), financial (12.92%), and consumer discretionary (10.63%). 

The JP Morgan Equity Premium Income Fund is doing modestly well this year. JEPI was trading at $55.57 on Wednesday, a few points below the year-to-date high of $55.85. The fund has jumped by more than 11% from the lowest point this year.

JEPI was trading at $54.41, a few points below the year-to-date high of $54.87. It has jumped by more than 7% from its lowest point this year and ~17% above the lowest point in 2022.
