Dada Nexus Limited, China's leading local on-demand delivery and retail platform, today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2021.

Amid the recurrent waves of COVID-19 restrictions in China, on-demand retailing, which combines online experience and offline channels, is acting as a stabilizer in the consumer goods industry.

With the tumultuous unfolding around China's major NY-listed tech companies, plenty of mid-cap stocks have been affected too, losing their market value in 2021. However, investors' fear has little-to-nothing to do with the firms' real fundamentals.

In spite of the increasing marketing costs, the Chinese on-demand retail and delivery platform is showing signs of long-term business sustainability.

Resulting from its Nasdaq IPO in June and follow-on offering in December, the JD.com-affiliated O2O company found itself with sufficient cash on hand to keep expanding in the ample Chinese market.
