Gary Newman is a veteran Chief Technology officer who brings deep technology and strategic thinking that he has gathered over his 30 year career working across the technology landscape. Gary started his career as a hands-on coder and quant programmer before founding q2 Technologies which was a development shop focused on cutting-edge enterprise software development. After completing his MBA at Columbia, Mr. Newman served as CFO and CEO for a number of startups before returning to a CTO role at Waking Up, a Sam Harris company where he led all of the company’s technology efforts.
