He used to be a Seeking Alpha author but got kicked off for lying that he wasn't paid by the companies he wrote about. The SEC has really started cracking down on that. Seeking Alpha was the worst offender. They published hundreds of articles that were nothing more that sponsored ads disguised as legitimate articles.
