Would like to add some general thoughts on advertising. It was considered streamlining production in many ways. Industry has managed in the mean time to adjust production to changing demand and internet introduces new products fast enough. Time has come to get away with advertising and have people handle the internet purposeful to find there own way and responsability instead of many forms of lazyness having exploiting peoples shortcomings and wrong thrifts. Internet is not just a joy; it should shape everyone's responsability and become a common asset.
I wouldn't be to sure about labour perspectives in general into the future and comment that immigration is and will more be a burden for lower class areas. Would like to see future developments in direct translation to spread people around the world who can deliver skill, education etc at under developed places.
I wouldn't worry too much about the thrifty people. The growing number of people without means should and could be organized though, by administering as many kinds of social work as possible and that would give them future rights on similar benefits in the way one now pays for a pension. At the other side of the balance one should limit the possibilities of savings and earnings to invest. Confined to just spending it would drive the economical cycles again and at the same time make it in a way ridiculous to earn so much as some of you feel entitled to.
This all together makes more sense to me than earning (too) much and being taxed to pay for the poor. The "problem" of less work is not to be solved off course.
