Financing US Twin Deficits: Reliance On The Kindness Of Foreigners
Moon Kil Woong 2/1/2017 3:01:28 AM

#Trump's acts inhibiting free trade and creating trade barriers by taxes will have an even worse chilling effect on growth and cause inflation to boot. That said, his budgetary ambitions are only acceptable when compared to #Hillary Clinton. The Republicans have elected a Democrat when it comes to spending. It is up to them to reign him in.

Speculation On Trump: The Future Of The Democratic Party
Howie Sandberg 11/22/2016 5:11:49 PM

It truly was a wakeup call for the Democrats, but I doubt they'll get the message. Had they not cheated and let #BernieSanders win the primary, I suspect he could have easily beaten #Trump. Even though I'm a democrat, I found #Hillary extremely distasteful to vote for.

Viva La Revolution

I recall reading somewhere that #Hillary's popular vote lead over #Trump was at 1.5 million and climbing. That's much more significant than you imply. Also, it's highly unlikely Trump will pursue prison time for Clinton if he wants to heal this fractured country.

There’s Some Irony Here

The question is, who would have been better equiped to handle the bubble bursting? #Trump or #Hillary?

Over $1 Trillion In Bond Losses In Days: Second Worst Week Ever
Moon Kil Woong 11/11/2016 5:02:06 PM

#Hillary and #Trump proposed massive deficit spending. Thus I have no idea what people were hoping for betting on for lower and lower bond rates post election. I guess they were betting Republicans held the House and Senate still (which they did) or that the #Fed would announce the end of raising rates and the US or even go back to #zirp. One can't realistically blame Trump alone for any of this.

Will A Trump Win Rain On Stock Market's Clinton Victory Parade?
Carl Schwartz 11/8/2016 3:15:14 AM

This is mostly just an anti #Hillary rant. Sure, Hillary is a liar, a crook and a cheat, But "the death penalty for Hillary's treason?" Yes, I'd say that's a bit much. Honestly, is #Trump any better?

How Democrats Promote Poverty and Inequality
David Reynolds 11/3/2016 4:19:03 PM

It's a sad truth that #Democrats, including #Obama and #Hillary, claim to champion low income families, but all they do is buy their votes with free handouts like #ObamaPhones, #FoodStamps free #healthcare and other benefits. I agree that this only helps to keep them down. These incentivize people to turn down job offers since they can do better with the handouts than without.

Post-Debate Trends

A common problem with journalists is they tend to believe the winner is whomever shares the policies they believe in. I personally believe #Trump is dangerous, but recognize that the touting of #Hillary's victory is greatly exaggerated. In fact, virtually every snap poll showed that Trump is the victor. It saddens me that the media has even given up the pretense of being unbiased.

Clinton wins debate – markets cheer, USD/JPY rises

I have to agree. CNN gave #Hillary the lead, but Time Magazine gave 60% to #Trump. Drudge Report gave over 80% to Trump. Over all, most polls did say Trump was the victor. Here's a good roundup:

Clinton wins debate – markets cheer, USD/JPY rises
BreakingBad News 9/27/2016 5:21:48 PM

Saying that #Hillary won is very subjective. Stating CNN's poll is kind of pointless since even they admit it was mostly made up of Democrats and the typical CNN reader is a Hillary supporter. Most polls I've seen state #Trump won. But the only poll that matters is on election day.

Your bias is clearly evident. Though I'm not supporting #Trump, I thought he dominated the debate and was disappointed that #Hillary appeared robotic and lacked any of her fire. I hope she'll fare better at the next one.

Clinton Or Trump? Elections With Global Impact - Head To Head Before Debate
Carl Schwartz 9/26/2016 8:04:04 PM

So #Trump wants to cut taxes, but only for the wealthy? While #Hillary wants to increase taxes on the rich by 4%? Seems like her plan makes far more sense.
