more As the youngest consultant at the World Bank Group in the Africa Region, working directly for the Vice President, I learned about true economic development and the power of empowerment. I then co-founded Nadaam Cashmere, which served to debut an innovative business model with a multi-pronged micro-economic development strategy. Naadam is currently sold in 38 different countries – including nearly every state in the US – and debuted in New York's Fashion Week in February 2015.
After completing my MSc in Management, I worked as a strategy consultant in Ahmedabad, India, working with a women’s labor union for the ultra-poor in critical financial state by designing hyper-growth cooperative business models that provide increased income and employment. Most recently, I worked in change management consulting, where I worked with the leadership of large organizations and federal agencies as they undertook significant change.
I was able to hone my analytical skills by working for the University of Cambridge to code algorithms for datasets in financial investment arbitration and later worked as a senior financial analyst advising the world’s top performing asset managers. My financial investment experience evolved into venture capital as I joined Spartan Ventures as Vice President.
