more James Bieniek born in Detroit, Michigan, July 1983. I got into investing younger than most - I was in 5th grade. It all started with our families first computer, a Packard Bell, 33mhz with 14.4k AOL internet connection. I quickly became an expert in computers. Even though it came standard with Windows 3.1, I ran most of my games from DOS. Usually I was installing floppy disks, browsing primitive webpages, printing from the obnoxious ribbon printer or studying the Encarta encyclopedia - the only cd-rom we had. My dad bought the computer for everyone and he wanted to research stocks. Back then all the numbers didn't interest me much but I watched him anyways for hours, day in and day out - I was just waiting for my turn again! I'd sit in my chair next to him while he'd tell me about P/E, MACD, floats...etc etc! I remember him telling me about Redhat- before it was anything! Plenty of hype stock too, like Ariel, pretty much a 10bagger over night during the tech boom! There was no way I could talk to my friends about this stuff, until now...
