I like text articles MUCH BETTER because then I can intently read them at my pace, re-reading those parts that need more understanding. And if my attention is distracted for a few moments I can backtrack and avoid missing any of the details. And with this site my presumption is that most of it is worth understanding. Modern technology could even be used to produce the text from the speech, if that were an excessive task. If your idea is worth presenting then it is worth putting into print.
