Gold & Silver About To Repeat Very Bullish Pattern?

The movie Groundhog’s day, was released back in 1993, starring Bill Murray. Murray plays an arrogant Pittsburgh TV weatherman who, during an assignment covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, finds himself caught in a time loop, repeating the same day again and again.

Speaking of repeating the same thing over and over again, below looks at the Silver/Gold ratio over the past 30-years.

When the ratio is moving lower, it reflects that Gold is weaker than Silver (Silver is much stronger than Gold). Three different times the ratio formed a rising channel and broke support at each (1), reflecting that Silver was much stronger than Gold.

Over the past six years, the ratio has remained inside of a rising channel. Over the past couple of years, the ratio could be forming a reversal pattern (Head & Shoulders top). If support would give way at (2), it would suggest that Silver is about to out perform by a good margin.
