Google Is Starting To Contact The People It's Re-Paying $19 Million For In-App Purchases
Due to the trigger happy nature of children who might not fully appreciate or understand the value of money, chances are there have been many parents who were greeted by bill shock upon opening the bill of their credit cards. In fact too often have we heard stories of how kids have managed to rack up thousands of dollars in in-app purchases. Now while Apple has since managed to settle with parents by refunding their purchases, Google is also looking to do the same as well. As part of the company’s $19 million settlement with the US FTC, Google has recently started to send out emails to users who might have been affected by the in-app purchases, thus offering them a refund the process.
