Teladoc Sinks After Amazon Announces Nationwide Virtual Care Launch

Shares of Teladoc Health (TDOC) are moving lower after Amazon.com (AMZN) revealed its plan to rollout virtual medical this summer across all 50 states.

Until now, Amazon Care has been exclusively available to Amazon employees and their families in Washington state.

Today, Amazon announced that Amazon Care will expand its virtual care to companies and Amazon employees in all 50 states across the U.S. Amazon Care's virtual care connects patients to medical professionals via the Amazon Care app.

Shares of Teladoc are down 7%, or $14.37, to $184.34 in premarket trading.
