Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Munich, Germany Traton SE (TRATF is the parent and holding company of the TRATON GROUP and one of the world’s commercial vehicle manufacturers.

Its brands include Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck and Bus.

In addition, it finances, insures, and leases commercial vehicles.

Traton SE is a subsidiary of Volkswagen International Luxemburg S.A.

Three key data points gauge Traton SE or any dividend paying entity, namely:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also show if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

TRATF Price

Traton’s price fell about 10.6% for the year as of Wednesday May 14th’s closing market price, falling from $35.23to $34.46.

TRATF Dividends

Traton has paid variable annual dividends since July, 2021. The current forward looking annual dividend of $1.85 yields 3.78% per Wednesday’s May 14th closing market price.

TRATF Returns

Putting it all together, a $4.89 estimated gross gain per share shows up when adding TRATF’s annual $1.85 dividend to an estimated $3.04 annual price gain, totaling that $4.89 gross gain amount.

A little over $1000 invested at the recent $34.46 price would buy 29 shares which, multiplies the $4.89 gross gain to $141.81.

Furthermore over one-third of that gain comes from the $53.70 in dividends generated from a $1,000 investment, and the $53.70 amounts to about $19.24 more than the recent $34.46 single-share price.

(A dividend dogcatcher rule is to never buy a dividend from $1000 invested that pays less than the cost of a single share.)

Therefore, you may choose to pounce on Traton and its 3.78% dividend yield along with its 4 year dividend record.

The exact track of TRATF’s future prices and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
