S&P 500 Snapshot: Another Record High This Week
The S&P spent the week rising, reaching another new closing high on Thursday and ending Friday a fraction off that record high. The index closed up 17.7% YTD and up 2.2% from last Friday.
The U.S. Treasury puts the closing yield on the 10-year note at 2.07%, which is still inverted - the 1-month note is at 2.16%, though the 20- and 30-year notes are at 2.37% and 2.59%, respectively.
