Microsoft announces their earnings this week after the close on Tuesday and the earnings are worth looking at closely.

Over the last 25 years, Microsoft’s seasonals have been very weak during the upcoming period.

Between January 29 and March 12, Microsoft lost value for an average drop ion -3.21%. The largest fall was in 2001 and 2020 with a drop of -19.48% and -17.02% respectively. So, over this earnings just bear in mind this bias for falls Will these seasonals play out again over this earnings release?

The major trade risk here is that Microsoft earnings surprise to the up-side and that could mean the normal weak seasonal pattern does not play out!
