Microsoft Corp. Dividend Increase

On 16 September, Microsoft (MSFT) increased its dividend by 9.64%, from 83¢ to 91¢ per share.
The dividend is payable on 11 December to shareholders of record on 20 November.
MSFT's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $16 to $182.
I own 50 shares of MSFT at an average cost basis of $31.76 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 11.46%. (MSFT's forward yield is 0.71% at $513.14 per share).
Since I opened my position in August 2013, the stock has produced a total return of 1,590%, including $1,213.38 in dividend income. That's a spectacular annualized rate of return of 26.4%!
MSFT became DivGro's 7th Home Run stock in October 2016, when the stock doubled my original capital outlay. MSFT became DivGro's first Ten Bagger in July 2024.
