Daily Stock Analysis: G.Willi-Food International

G.Willi-Food International Ltd is known by the ticker symbol WILC and is listed in the consumer defensive sector as a food distribution company. This is my first report on G.Willi-Food International Ltd for this (or any) of my six portfolios.

G. Willi-Food International Ltd is a company engaged in the development, import, export, marketing, and distribution of a wide variety of food products worldwide.

Its business segment includes import, export, marketing, and distribution of food products and non-banking credit.

The company was formerly known as G. Willi-Food Ltd. and changed its name to G. Willi-Food International Ltd. in June 1996.

Three key data points gauge dividend equities or funds like G. Willi-Food International Ltd (WILC):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three basic keys best tell whether any company has made, is making, and will make money.

WILC Price

G.Willi's price per share was $22.55 as of Monday's market close. One year ago its price was $20.54 So WILC share price grown 9.7% in the past year.

If G.Willi's stock trades in the range of $18.00 to $25.00 this next year, its recent $22.55 price might rise by $1.65 to reach $24.50 by September 3, 2022. My estimate is $0.03 under the average annual price increase over the past ten years.

WILC Dividends

G.Willi's most recent regular annual dividend payout of$1.34 will pay out September 30 to shareholders of record on September 9th. That annual payout of $1.34 yields 5.94% based on Monday's $22.55 closing price. WILC has only paid two dividends in the past: the first in 2006, and the second in 2016.

WILC Returns

Adding the $1.34 annual WILC forward-looking dividend to my $1.65 price upside estimate shows a $2.99 potential gross gain, per share, to be reduced by any costs to trade WILC shares.

At Monday's $22.55 price per share, a little under $1000 would buy 44 shares.

A $10 broker fee (if charged) would be paid half at purchase and half at sale and might cost us$0.23 per share.

Subtract that maybe $0.23 brokerage cost from my estimated $2.99 gross gain per share results in a net gain of $2.76 X 44 shares = $121.44 for a 12.1% net gain on a $992.20 investment.

So it is that G.Willi-Food International Ltd (WiLC) shows a possible 12.1% net gain including a 5.94% forward estimated dividend yield.

Over the next year at this time, a $1000 investment in G.Willi-Food International Ltd (WILC) could generate $59.40 in cash dividends alone. And a single share bought at Monday's closing price was $22.55! Thus, WILC's share price is about 38% of the dividend income from $1K invested. So, according to my dogcatcher ideal, now is the time to pick up WILC shares. The dividend from $1k invested is nearly three times the single share price. Consider yourself alerted.

All of the estimates above are speculation based on the past history of G.Willi-Food International Ltd (WILC). Only time and money invested in this stock will determine its market value.
