The Hackett Group Inc, ticker HCKT, a small-cap information technology services company in the technology business sector, is the second of five technology candidates vying for the last slot in my Viital folio. I did mention HCKT previously back on January 6th.

The Hackett Group Inc is an advisory firm. The company's offerings include (1) executive advisory programs, (2) benchmarking, (3) business transformation, and (4) cloud enterprise application implementation.

The company's executive and practices advisory programs offer performance metrics, peer-learning opportunities, and practice implementation practices.

Benchmarking services help organizations measure and assess internal efficiency and effectiveness.

Business transformation programs help customers develop strategies to improve performance.

The company's technology advisory services help clients improve decision-making capabilities and deploy software applications.

The Hackett Group generates the majority of its revenue in the United States.

The company was formerly known as Answerthink, Inc. and changed its name to The Hackett Group Inc. in 2008.

The Hackett Group, Inc. was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida.

Three key data points gauge The Hackett Group Inc:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three basic keys best tell whether any company has made, is making, and will make money.

HCKT Price

Hackett’s price per share was $17.75 at Todays market close.  Hackett’s share price fell by $2.10 or about 10.5% in the past year.

If Hackett’s stock trades in the range of $15.00 to $24.00 this next year, its recent $17.75 share price might reach $25.00 by next year. That upside increase of $7.25 is $3.67 under the median upsides projected by 3 analysts.

HCKT Dividends

Hackett’s most recently declared quarterly dividend of $0.11 per share makes an annual dividend of $0.44 and casts a yield of 2.47%.

HCKT Returns

Adding the $0.44 HCKT dividend to my one-year price upside estimate of $7.25 shows a $7.69 potential gross gain.

At today’s $17.75 closing price, a little under $1000 would buy 56 shares.

A $10 broker fee (if charged) would be paid half at purchase and half at sale and might cost us $0.18 per share.

Subtract that maybe $0.18 brokerage cost from my estimated $7.69 gross gain estimate per share results in a net gain of $7.51 X 56 shares = $420.56 for a 42% net gain including an 2.48% annual yield.

In a year our $1K investment in shares of The Hackett Group Inc  could generate $24.80 in cash dividends. Of course, a single share of HCKT stock at yesterday's $17.75 price is over $7 less than the dividend income from our $1000.00 investment.

So, by my dogcatcher ideal, this is a good time to buy HCKT shares based on their dividends for the year 2022. The dividend from $1K invested is $7.05 greater than yesterday’s single share price. Consider yourself alerted. Now is the time.

All of the estimates above are speculation based on the past history of The Hackett Group Inc . Only time and money invested in this stock will determine its market value.
