Patria Investments Ltd (PAX) is a private markets investment firm. It seeks to provide global and Latin American investors  attractive investment products that allow portfolio diversification and consistent returns.

Patria Investments Limited was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands.

Three key data points gauge Patria or any dividend-paying firm.

The key three are:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three basic keys best tell whether any company has made, is making, and will make money.

PAX Price

Over the past year, Patrias share price fell about 9% from $15.36 to $13.95 as of Wednesday’s market close.

If PAX shares trade in the range of $12.00 to $20.00 this next year, its recent $13.95 share price might rise to $14.70 by next year. Of course, PAX’s price could drop about the same $0.75 estimated amount, or more.

My annual upside estimate of $0.75 however, is $4.40 below the median of one year price targets from 6 analysts tracking PAX for brokers.

PAX Dividend

Patria Investments has paid variable quarterly dividends since June 2021. PAX’s most recent Q dividend of $0.40 was declared February 15th for shareholders of record February 21st and the payout was made March 8th

A forward looking $1.20 annual dividend yields 8.60% at Wednesday’s $14.70 share price.

PAX Returns

To put it all together, add the Patria Investments estimated annual dividend of $1.20 to the estimated price upside of $0.75 to find a $1.95 estimated gross gain for the coming year.

At Wednesday’s $13.95 price, a little over $1000 would buy 72 shares.

A $10 broker fee (if charged), paid half at purchase and half at sale, would cost us about $0.14 per share.

Subtracting that likely $0.14 brokerage cost from the $1.95 gross gain reveals a net gain of $1.81 X 72 shares = $130.32 for a 13% estimated net gain on the year.

You might choose to pounce on Patria Investments Ltd It is a 30 year-old dividend paying Cayman Island-based investments company.  Furthermore, the estimated $86.00 annual dividend income from $1k invested is over 6 times greater than PAX’s recent $13.95 share price.

The exact track of Patria Investment’s ongoing future price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action.

Remember the true value of any stock is best realized through personal ownership of shares.
