AT&T To Buy Time Warner For $105-$110 Per Share, WSJ Reports
AT&T (T) has reached an agreement to acquire Time Warner (TWX) for between $105 and $110 per share, Thomas Gryta and Keach Hagey of the Wall Street Journal report, citing people familiar with the plans.
The deal is half cash and half stock, and could be announced as soon as tonight, the journalists add. The acquisition is valued at over $80B.
Shares of Time Warner closed yesterday up $6.48 to $89.48.
