Sensex Today Trades Flat; Bharat Elec & Reliance Industries Top Gainers
Asian markets traded higher on Tuesday, following a rally on Wall Street, led by tech stocks.
US stock market ended higher on Monday on increased odds that the US Federal Reserve will lower its Fed funds target rate in December.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 51 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 13 points higher.
Reliance Industries, Bharat Elec, and Tata Steel are among the top gainers today.
Power Grid Corp, Infosys, and Adani Ports the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.1% lower, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.03% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the media sector and the oil & gas sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the metal and real estate sectors witnessed buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 88.6 against the US dollar.
BEL, Safran Partner for Precision Weapons
Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) and Safran Electronics and Defence (SED), France, signed a Joint Venture Cooperation Agreement (JVCA) on Monday (November 24) to produce the HAMMER (Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range) Smart Precision-Guided Air-to-Ground Weapon in India.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi by BEL CMD Manoj Jain and SED Executive Vice President Alexandre Ziegler, in the presence of Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar and Safran CEO Olivier Andries.
This JVCA builds on the intent outlined in the MoU signed on 11 February 2025, during Aero India, paving the way for the creation of a 50:50 joint venture company (JVC) in India. The JVC will focus on the localized manufacturing, supply, and maintenance of HAMMER systems for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
Indigenisation levels are targeted to progressively reach 60%, with key electronics, mechanical parts, and sub-assemblies produced domestically. Production transfer will be implemented in phases, with BEL leading final assembly, testing, and quality assurance.
Paras, IUAC Partner for Indigenous MRI Magnets
Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd announced on Monday, 24 November 2025, that it has signed an MoU with the Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, to jointly develop commercial-grade MRI magnet systems in India.
The IUAC, an autonomous institution under the University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Education, specializes in particle-accelerator-based research and development.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations will combine their technical strengths to develop superconducting MRI magnet technology indigenously, a step that supports India's broader Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision for technological self-reliance.

HUDCO Signs Urban Collaboration With NIUA
The Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) on 24 November 2025.
The non-binding MoU outlines plans for collaboration on programmes of mutual interest related to urban infrastructure and development, including infrastructure investment and HUDCO's Urban Invest Window (UiWIN).
The partnership will also focus on organizing capacity-building programmes, seminars, conferences, and workshops, as well as undertaking research, monitoring, evaluation, and impact studies.
Additionally, the MoU seeks to explore joint engagement with multilateral funding agencies and other potential financing opportunities.
