Nifty Below 26,000; Sensex Today Trades Lower
Asian markets traded lower on Tuesday, following an overnight slide on Wall Street.
US stock market ended sharply lower on Monday, driven by technology stocks, ahead of quarterly earnings from Nvidia and a long-delayed US jobs report this week.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 158 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 51 points lower.
Axis Bank, Bharat Elec, and PowerGrid Corp are among the top gainers today.
Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, and Kotak Mahindra, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.3% lower, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.4% lower.
Sectoral indices are mixed today, with stocks in the telecommunications sector and the oil & gas sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile, shares in the realty sector and the metal sector witnessed selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 88.7 against the US dollar.
Reliance Retail Launches Essence in India
Reliance Retail on Monday announced to bring 'essence', Europe's leading cosmetics brand by units sold, to the Indian market, a move which will help the growing beauty business of country's leading retailer.
According to a statement from Reliance Retail, it has partnered exclusively with Cosnova Beauty, a global cosmetics company based in Germany.
It noted that the tie-up strengthens RRL's widening beauty portfolio while introducing Indian shoppers to essence's lively, high-quality, budget-friendly, and cruelty-free cosmetics.
The entire line of products will be accessible through partner retail formats, beauty shops and online platforms thanks to Reliance Retail's integrated omnichannel ecosystem.
Tata Power Activates NHPC Rajasthan Solar
At Karnisar Bhatiyan in Bikaner, Rajasthan, NHPC's 300 MW (AC) DCR-compliant solar project has been put into service by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), the company's renewables division.
The project, which took two and a half years to complete and involved the installation of approximately 7.75 lakh solar panels across arid terrain, makes use of cutting-edge DCR cells and bifacial modules.
The Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) is anticipated to receive all its output, producing an estimated 17,230 million units of green energy during its lifetime.
According to TPREL, the project used heat-resistant inverters designed for the conditions and precise ramming to overcome the extremely high temperatures and challenging vehicle movement. Alongside the growth of local vendors, over 300 local workers were employed.
With the commissioning, TPREL's portfolio of third-party projects has grown to over 4.9 GW, and the company's total renewable utility capacity has reached 11.6 GW, of which 5.8 GW are currently operational. Over the next two years, an additional 5.8 GW is planned to be put online.

HCLTech Partners Nvidia for AI Lab
In partnership with Nvidia, IT services giant HCLTech opened an innovation lab in Santa Clara, California, to assist businesses in investigating, developing, and expanding industry uses of cognitive robotics and physical artificial intelligence.
Linked to HCLTech's global AI labs, the new facility will use Nvidia's key technologies along with HCLTech's physical AI tools to help major global companies test and scale physical AI projects for better competitiveness.
