Nifty Above 26,000; Mukka Proteins Up 13%
Asian markets traded mixed on Thursday, following overnight gains on Wall Street. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was trading down 0.1%.
US stock market ended higher on Wednesday, as a flurry of economic data raised expectations for an interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve next week.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 132 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 33 points higher.
TCS, HCL Tech, TMPV among the top gainers today.
HUL, Titan Company, and Tata Steel the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.1% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.2% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the metal and media sectors witnessing buying. Meanwhile, stocks in realty and services sectors witnessed selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 88.6 against the US dollar.
Pine Labs Q2 Results
Shares of Pine Labs came into focus after the company reported its Q2 Results.
Consolidated operating revenue rose to Rs 6.50 billion (bn), an 18% increase from Rs 5.51 bn a year earlier. CEO Amrish Rau said the company earns around 71% of its revenue from non-PoS operations and 29% from PoS subscriptions.
This is Pine Labs' first quarterly announcement since its 14 November listing.
Employee expenses remain the largest cost component, rising slightly to Rs 2.67 bn from Rs 2.58 bn last year. Total expenses for the quarter stood at Rs 6.61 bn.
Pine Labs is also reducing capital expenditure on PoS terminals by refurbishing and redeploying existing devices, bringing FY25 capex to Rs 1.01 bn.
Pine Labs reported a net profit of Rs 0.06 bn in the September quarter of FY2025, marking its second consecutive profitable quarter.
RVNL Wins Major Southern Railway Traction Contract
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) announced on Wednesday that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Southern Railway for a Rs 1.4 bn traction power project, as disclosed in a stock exchange filing.
The contract includes the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of Scott-connected traction substations, power quality systems, switching posts, a 2x25 kV feeding system, and SCADA along with automatic fault locator systems for the Jolarpettai-Salem section of the Salem Division.
The project forms part of Indian Railways' Mission 3000 MT freight-loading initiative.
RVNL stated that the work is scheduled to be completed within 540 days and is part of the company's regular business operations.

IEX Records Strong November Trading Growth
The Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) reported a 17.7% year-on-year rise in trade volume, reaching 11,409 million units in November, the exchange said on Wednesday. During the month, a total of 4.74 lakh Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) were traded.
IEX said higher hydro, wind, and solar generation improved supply, lowering prices in the Day Ahead Market (Rs3.07/unit, down 6.9% YoY) and Real Time Market (Rs 3.14/unit, down 9.2% YoY), offering discoms and industrial consumers a chance to buy cheaper power.
DAM volume was 5,668 MU, almost unchanged from last year, while RTM rose 40.2% to 4,233 MU. TAM trading increased to 693 MU from 202 MU a year ago.
The IEX Green Market traded 815 MU in November, slightly below last year, with G-DAM prices at Rs 3.29/unit. REC trading fell 13.1% YoY, totalling 4.74 lakh units at Rs 370 and Rs 364 per REC.
