Changan Technology Company Established, Planning To Launch 30 More Vehicles By 2025
On Dec. 25, Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Changan Automobile (Chineses: 长安汽车), officially announced the establishment of Changan Technology Company (Chinese: 长安科技公司) and the release of three NEV products: Changan Hydrogen Fuel Cell System, Changan Smart Electric iDD and Changan Force at the Changan Automobile Technology Achievement Exhibition, marking the comprehensive renewal of Changan power.
To improve technological innovation capabilities and accelerate the transformation to a technology company, Zhu Huarong said that in the next ten years, Changan Automobile will be centered on Changan Technology Company, invest more than 150 billion in the new automobile technology industry chain, build a scientific and technological innovation team with a scale of over 10,000 people, develop a super-intelligent vehicle platform, and arrange technology industries such as controllers, to achieve a 100-billion-level technology industry scale.
Changan Automobile will also further reconstruct the brand structure and accelerate the launch of new products. Changan Automobile is committed to building a new label of "intelligent electric car", creating a young and technological brand image. By 2025, Changan Automobile will launch more than 30 new products to provide users with a product experience that exceeds expectations.
Meanwhile, Changan Automobile will continue to cooperate with Huawei (Chinese: 华为), Tencent (Chinese: 腾讯), Bosch, CATL (Chinese: 宁德时代), and other outstanding partners in the field of new energy. By 2030, Changan Automobile will achieve overall sales of 5 million vehicles, with its sales volume entering the top ten of the world's auto companies.
