Watching the Trump coin is fascinating. I’m not sure if this thing is kind of like a popularity poll or, like Bitcoin, a proxy for the general risk-on/risk-off zeitgeist. It blasted from pennies to almost $80 in a few days, and since then it has withered away to less than a third of its peak.

It pretty much is guaranteed to be worth $0 by Jan. 20, 2029, but I truly wonder what spasmodic actions are going to take place in between.

Actually, that screenshot is badly out of date, because the “coin” keeps falling. It’s in the teens as of the time of writing, and by the time you read this, who knows where it could be.

Of course, it could be even worse, as demonstrated by the chart provided below.
