Lifetime Highs

As you probably know, the stock market closed at lifetime highs on Friday. The Dow 30 Industrials? Never higher. The Nasdaq 100? Same. And the S&P 500, as well. The thing is, lifetime highs tend to beget new lifetime highs.
I would like to point out that this isn’t always the case. Take 2007, for instance. After years of struggling, it finally managed to peek just above the former high. And that, as they say, was that.
I think it’s highly improbable we’ll see the same thing happen, but I at least wanted to provide a historical example.
