Gold has been doing fantastically well lately. Here are some very long-term ratio charts (with commentary) to suggest how that trend should continue for quite some time.
 

The chart above illustrates the Dow Composite divided by gold, whose pattern completed a while ago.
 

Next is a look at gold versus the dollar index, which is absolutely soaring following the massive base.
 

Gold is beating equities, although it should be noted that its prior pattern like this didn’t follow through for long.
 

Here is a different view of the same idea: as strong as stocks are, they are actually badly underperforming.
 

The diamond pattern (shown as ovals here) was completed many months ago, and gold has absolutely smashed small-cap equities.
