Today, we’re going to take a quick look at the Elliott Wave charts of the DAX index.

As our readers likely know, the DAX index has been showing impulsive bullish sequences in the cycle from the November 2025 low. Recently, it pulled back and found buyers at the equal legs area. Here’s our forecast for the index.

DAX Elliott Wave One-Hour Chart & Forecast for Dec. 18, 2025

The DAX was seen forming a five-wave upward cycle from the 22,941 low. Our view suggested that the DAX was undergoing a pullback, as shown at wave ((iv)). The extreme zone had already been reached at the time of our forecast. We expected buyers to appear in the equal-legs zone within the 24,032.6 - 23,843.5 (buyer's area) range to complete wave ((iv)) (shown in black) before the bullish trend could resume.

DAX Elliott Wave One-Hour Chart & Forecast for Jan. 5, 2026

The DAX found buyers right at the marked extreme zone and turned higher, just as we expected. It also got a break above the previous peak on Dec. 12, 2025, which confirmed that the next leg up is in progress. We expect the index to ideally remain supported in the coming days.
