Globalization - Why The U.S. Has Clearly Profited The Most

Hello again, smart investors. Yesterday we provided you with specific financial/economic data that clearly showed that the United States of America is the one nation in the world that has benefited most from globalization. The data we showed is irrefutable, and it covers a period of years (fourteen to be exact).
Not to beat a dead horse, but just to refresh your minds about what we are talking about again, let's look at one of yesterday's graphs again. It follows:
Now that is where we would like to begin today's discussion that explains "how and why" things turned out the way shown above. How in the hell did the United States of America, a country with less than 5% of the world's population manage to garner over 50% of the world's business investments all by its lonesome?
The first thing to note, smart investors, is the fact that you could almost draw a "linear regression line" yourself from the U.S. point in 2011 to the U.S. point in 2024 without running any calculations! Think on that for a second because it is telling you something very important. Yeah, you can see some ups and downs and sideways types of things, but you pretty much have to agree the U.S. plott looks pretty darn linear when push comes to shove.
So what, Mr. smarty-pants? I don't understand.
What it means is this. Politics probably had nothing to do with the dominance of the United States in the financial/economic arena--at least up to about eighty days ago. No, the regression line tends to show this was a pretty steady rate of change (any up and downs and sideways could be explained as well by non-political events as they could any political events).
No folks, the reason the United States of America benefited from globalization more than any other nation or group of nations in the world is because it has more to offer the rest of the world. Think about it.
- The United States of America has over 80% of the top 100 institutions of higher learning in the world (don't pin me down on the 80%., but it would be close). Higher learning tends to lead to higher creativity.
- Nearly every American citizen naturalized or not, understands what freedom really means instilled with a sense of frontier spirit.
- Who created the bomb, the computer, calculators, microcomputers, internet, cell phones, social networking, amazon shopping--all products that are now being used everywhere around the globe
- Success stories abound in the United States of America, turning paupers into princes. It's not a myth.
- Believe it or not our public education system is not as bad as many people would have you believe. It could be funded better and teachers could be better paid, but again, education in America tends to be freer in a number of ways, less restrictive, less bureaucratic, less memorization with its education--speaking in general terms. Freedom of choice is critical for any endeavor if success is a goal.
- The United States is the leader in just about every category of science, including the medical sciences and physical sciences, as well as the science associated with finance and economics.
- The Federal Government of the United States of America protects everything it stands for, including its people, its businesses, its land, its friends, its principals, etc. (at least before 60 days ago).
- We may hate each other, and we do, but we still are the flocking "United" States of America
- Our forefathers gave us all the above, and every generation since, has built upon that prior history (again, at least it did up to about 80 days ago).
Okay, okay, Jim, enough! We hear what you are saying, make your point!
No problem. My point is simple. The United States did not gain dominance over the financial/economic well-being of the globe due to any great strategic plan or super policy decisions. Nor did it gain its dominance from any single individual or any specific group of individuals. Democrats, republicans, trumpets had nothing to do with the United States' dominance of world affairs.
If you really want to know how the United States gained the economic/financial dominant position in the world you will have to back to an earlier period of U.S. history; back to the time it was forming its Constitution, setting up three branches of Government to manage over a desperately diverse mob of rebels.
It's the Constitution of the United States that is responsible for the position the United States holds in the world. That's why America gained global dominance! Nothing more, nothing less!
BTW, what you see in business is pretty much the same view you get when you look at military strength. No one, and i mean no one, wants to take the United States of America head on in a military confrontation--with or without nuclear weapons. But please keep that secret, we wouldn't want that rumor to start spreading, too.
But now we have a problem, Houston. Things have radically changed starting about eighty days ago. Because the people of the United States quit believing in themselves, they put a brain-dead, conman, despot in the highest position in the land to shut down the Federal Government of the United States and to defy its Constitution.
And that is why I say the above is old history. New history isn't going to look the same. It's also why i wrote my book called, Globanomics, which was published in the fall of 2021 and talked about all the above and plenty, plenty, more--with solutions for all the problems that are currently being generated from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC--United States of America.
Stay tuned, smart investors because tomorrow we will end this series of three on the why's, where's, and wherewithal's of globalization by discussing the solution to all of its ills and growing pains. That something is called "globanomics". If you want to get a head start on your investor competition, you can "google" the term. AI won't do you much good. AI has never heard of globanomics. Globanomics is manmade.
