Monday: April Producer Price Index data are to see light in Japan, where analysts expect an annual rise of 1.8%. In the U.S., May’s Empire Manufacturing survey will see light.

Tuesday: March Tertiary Industry Index will see light in Japan. In the U.K., April’s Consumer Price Index data will be released, where analysts expect inflation to ascend to 2.6%. April’s Producer Price Index data will also see light in the U.K., currently pointing to 3.6% annual gain. In Germany, May’s ZEW Survey will see light – Analysts see an improvement for both the ‘Current Situation’, as well as ‘Expectations’ components. Preliminary Q1 GDP data will see light for the Eurozone, currently pointing to a lackluster 1.7% annual growth. April Housing Starts data will also see light in the U.S., as will the month’s Industrial Production data.

Wednesday: March Machine Orders data will be released in Japan. In the U.K., April’s Claimant Count Rate will see light, as will Jobless claims data and Unemployment, the latter currently pointing to 4.7%. The final estimate for Europe’s Consumer Price Index data will see light for the Eurozone. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light. Advance Q1 GDP data will see light in Russia.

Thursday: Preliminary first quarter GDP data will see light in Japan. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims data will be released. April’s Leading Index data will also see light in the U.S.

Friday: April Consumer Price Index data will see light in Canada. Advance May Consumer Confidence Index figures will be released in the Eurozone.
