On the Corn front, the futures are mixed as we start the Thanksgiving holiday week. Selling pressure is coming from the election of liberal Javier Mileei, as the new president of Argentina. Milehas promised radical financial change for Argentina, including the dollarization of their economy, the closing of the Argentina Central Bank and dramatic tax cuts-including export taxes on its agricultural exports. The outside markets feel the rally that is yet to come,. December crude oil expires today. And the markets are holding on like eggshells, as traders in the know, realizing what is fair market value and trade. Another curveball unexpected. We have to right this ship moving forward. Argentina markets are in holiday, but when they reopen, the peso is expected to come under acute selling pressure with he Argentine Central Bank nearly out of currency. There are more questions than answers and the Argentine farmers are expecting an adnonishment of export taxes and will not be selling crop anytime soon. The Argentine market will be frozen awaiting Meleis’ presidential installation on December 10th

These headlines have traders keeping their cards close to vest, but the undeniable break-out is about to happen. Winter months and inflation will be the keys to the car for global crop movement. In the overnight electrooniic session the December corn is currently trading at 465 ¾ which is 1 ¼ of a cent lower. The trading range has been 469 ½ to 464 1/2.  We will have a global understanding of the up-side & down-side of energy and food.
