We look at Gold’s historical performance in the first year or two of a new bull market and evaluate the corrections and downside support. We look at the early 1970s, mid-1970s, mid-2000s, 2009-2010, and 2018-2020. The corrections can be defined by the 50-day moving average, 100-day moving average, and 150-day moving average.
