Gold & Silver Stay Quiet On Tuesday

It was somewhat of a quiet day in the precious metals markets today, as after a lot of volatility in the past few sessions, the gold and silver prices were basically unchanged on Tuesday.

The gold futures were down $5 to fall just below the $3,400 level by 30 cents.
 


Silver was up 15 cents on Tuesday, and the futures finished at $37.94.
