As you can see in the chart below, yields formed a perfect cup and handle pattern. This makes a technical analyst like myself believe that the upswing has started. With that said, I don’t expect a vertical move. However, by early 2022, 2.05% on the 10 year yield is my target. This should put technology stocks under pressure, as quality dividend plays outperform. Lots of great opportunities will present themselves on the long and short side of the markets.
