WordPress Engages In Censorship

Some of us have been with WordPress since 2009 and longer.[2].  It used to be small-user-friendly, but those days are long gone.  It has grown so large that it is essentially impossible to reach "Happiness Engineers," who used to help us to resolve problems.  Now it seems to be run by Geeks who do not care one iota about the rest of us.

Globally, Geeks made changes during the height of the Coronaviris pandemic that were totally unnecessary, to justify their existences and keep getting paid.  Yet, Google's Gmail, Facebook and even Elon Musk's Twitter/X function relatively well, and generally satisfy their users' needs.

By not helping loyal small users, WordPress is engaging in a form of censorship, which is repulsive.  Recently, they have even touted buying a "100-Year Plan" for $38,000, which is absurd—if not pure lunacy.[3]  If they can't fix simple problems created since they began (e.g., lost photos, the elimination of "Classic Editor"), how can anyone expect them to be trustworthy for our inheritors after we are long gone?
