Where The Current Market Stands Now

Although QQQ is currently still below the buy signal point, it should be interpreted as a hold signal (stay invested if you purchased QQQ in 2009) but there is no new buying signal for now.

Below is the QQQ chart that shows where the current technology market stands now.

Transaction log that shows the current performance by following the above signals (cumulative profit is highlighted).

As you can see, the last BUY signal for QQQ was issued on 10/30/2009. Therefore, although QQQ is currently still under the BUY signal, it should be interpreted as a hold signal (stay invested if you purchased QQQ in 2009), but no reason to buy now.

Disclosure:

We currently own QQQ shares.
