2. Treatment Process – From Start to Finish

3. Following the appointment: What to expect when you get home
Your child will feel numbness for about an hour or two after the procedure. During this period, tell your child not to bite either their cheek or tongue since they won't feel it, although it might cause some irritation. Your child should eat only soft foods throughout the day and should refrain from drinking extremely cold or hot beverages.
Some children experience sensitivity in their teeth for a day or two after the procedure is done. This is totally normal as it goes away gradually. If sensitivity persists for more than three days, please call our office immediately.
