
Stocks were broadly lower on Monday, as declines in AI stocks and elevated Treasury yields weighed on investors. The 10-year Treasury yield remains at 19-year highs, though stocks did retreat from their intraday highs after President Donald Trump indicated he was open to lifting sanctions on Iran regarding nuclear issues. The Dow and S&P 500 logged their fourth loss in the last five trading days, while the Nasdaq gave back 248 points.


Oil Moves Higher After a Key Pipeline Return
Oil prices retreated from session highs after Saudi Arabia restored flow through a critical pipeline. West Texas Intermediate crude gained 19 cents to settle at $92.60 per barrel.
Gold prices resumed their fall Monday, as December-dated futures shed 3.6% to settle at $4,165.20 per ounce.
