Herd immunity - the sweet spot that America is getting closer to every day...or is it? Vaccines have been rolling out at a record rate - more than half of American adults are now vaccinated. That said, there have been signs that vaccination rates have reached a plateau. And they are a far cry from herd immunity, which most experts put in the needed range of a 70-85% vaccination rate.
When will the United States be able to reach herd immunity from COVID-19? Only time will tell, but with the correct identification of groups and interests of people that are vaccine hesitant (and understanding why they are hesitant, without finger pointing), information is power.
