U.S. Cash Deficit – 2014

The U.S. Daily Cash Deficit for Wednesday 12/31/2014 was $3.0bn bringing the December Surplus to $14bn and the full year 2014 deficit to $607bn…a $102bn  improvement over 2013’s $709bn cash deficit.

I’ll have more next week, but for the year, revenues were up 5.2% and outlays were up 1.6%. 2014 was the 5th straight year of deficit reduction, though at $600bn….it’s clearly still nothing to brag about.
