This was a shortened trading week. It started with a bang.
A peace deal with Iran hit the wire minutes before Sunday’s futures open. Stocks exploded higher on the news.
Here is what happened next. More importantly, here is where the real opportunity is setting up right now.
Stocks drifted lower into Wednesday’s close. Traders got a clean reminder that the day after Fed Day matters more than Fed Day itself.
Then Thursday delivered. Stocks rebounded hard and finished near the highs of the week.
Tech and industrials grabbed the headlines. Two quieter sectors are waking up underneath them. Those are the ones worth your attention this summer.
And here’s why.
The AI Trade Is Spreading
The first sector on my radar is uranium. I have flagged it recently. I will say it again here.
Uranium is the next phase of the greater AI trade.
Chips and data infrastructure carried the first leg. That segment is now due for a stretch of sideways consolidation.
Capital rotates. It always does. The next destination is what matters.
Uranium answers that. AI data centers consume enormous amounts of power.
Nuclear is the only energy source that can scale to meet that demand without political headwinds killing it first. The setup is logical.
The Trinity Terminal has been picking up this rotation as it builds. The price action confirms the story.
Biotech Just Hit Multi-Year Highs
The second sector is biotech. It broke out to fresh multi-year highs last week.
I got interested in this group last summer. That was only the first wave.
It spent several months consolidating those gains. That is normal, healthy price action.
It caught its breath. Now it is accelerating again.
Here is where it gets interesting. The AI angle in biotech is real. It is also badly underappreciated.
Consider what is already happening across the space:
Palantir (PLTR)’s AI is helping hospitals reduce sepsis rates in a meaningful way
Drug discovery timelines are compressing as AI models identify viable compounds faster
Diagnostic accuracy is climbing as imaging AI catches what human eyes miss
Clinical trial design is getting smarter, which lowers cost and failure rates
All the AI conversation has centered on data centers and infrastructure. That was the first chapter. Healthcare is the next one. We are still in the early innings here.
How To Position This Summer
The AI theme is moving outward from its core. Uranium powers it. Biotech applies it.
Both sectors are setting up while the crowd keeps staring at semiconductors. That gap is the opportunity.
I am walking through the exact levels and setups I am watching in both names inside Trinity Trade. If you want to get positioned ahead of this rotation instead of chasing it after the fact, that is where to look.
Pay attention here if you want to outperform this summer.
