9:56 AM – Selling all my AME shares this morning as the stock is clearly breaking below the 10 DMA. That loss of short-term support is a technical violation, and with a modest profit still intact, I’m locking in the gain and moving on.
James’ Trader’s Tip: Protect Even Small Profits
• A profit does not have to be large to be worth protecting.
• When a stock breaks a key support level like the 10 DMA, the technical picture has changed.
• Taking a small gain and freeing up capital is better than allowing a winning trade to turn into a loss.
