Trade Deficit Jumps 5.5% As Exports Decline And Imports Rise

Several advance economic reports for June came out today. Inventories were flat and the trade deficit rose.

The Census Bureau Monthly Advance Report on inventories and Trade shows the trade deficit widened by 5.5% while wholesale and retail inventories were flat.

These are the final reports ahead of GDP report tomorrow morning.
