Red Hat Inc. will release their earnings report for FQ1’19 Thursday after the close. The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $0.73, a 30% YoY increase, and five cents higher than the Wall Street consensus. Estimize has been more accurate than Wall Street in predicting RHT EPS 85% of the time. Estimize projects a revenue of $816.4M, a 21% YoY growth, while Wall Street predicts $807.3M. Estimize has also beaten wall street in RHT Revenue predictions 85% of the time.
Red Hat specializes in open-source software products. They also offer a subscription based service. Estimize consensus expects a 20% increase in subscriptions YoY. They have done very well compared to other companies in the information technology sector and look very promising going forward. Looking forward, the company still has lots of market share to steal from other software companies.
