There's Nothing Moral About The State Bar Of California

It remains the most odious trade association in America.

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

As I wrote four years ago, it was and remains the most odious trade association in America.[2]  Former Governor Pete Wilson effectively put it out of business, but it came roaring back to keep its workers gainfully employed during COVID.  Its leader Leah Wilson left in disgrace after its bar examination became the laughingstock of the world.[3]

Put into perspective, California is the most-hated state in the nation.  Call it jealousy or what have you, lots of Americans would be pleased if it drifted out to sea and never returned.[4]  The state's Governor Gavin Newsom may be the Democrats' nominee to be President in 2028; and one expects him to be campaigning between now and then.

The last bastion of opposition to Trump's policies are woke Democrat judges, who fancy themselves as being little Caesars, and obstruct whatever Trump does.  Being products of a convoluted legal system, they have no hesitations about rising to the occasion.[5]  But with two law degrees, it is a profession that I have chosen—or it has chosen me.[6]
