The Scouts Versus The Catholic Church

Children are precious from the moment of conception.

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Pedophilia is mind-numbing.[2]  It is a sin against God and mankind.  Whether deservedly or not, the Scouts have been decimated by it, while the Catholic Church has elevated the "Pedophile Pope."  How outrageous.[3]

Anyone who abuses kids (or is a co-conspirator) should be arrested and imprisoned.  This includes Pope Leo XIV if he dares to set foot in the United States.[4]  At the very least, he has known about pedophilia among Catholic clergy, yet looked the other way.[5]

Did he participate himself?  His life must be investigated thoroughly.  Pedophilia is the moral equivalent of human slavery, and of the harvesting of body parts by killing the young.[6]  It must not be tolerated; and the logical starting point should have been the new Pope before he was elected.

I was a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout and an Explorer Scout.  My father was a Boy Scout before me.  And I have three loved ones who are Scouts today.  Like the Catholic Church, pedophilia should have been stopped in its tracks, with the abusers arrested and driven from Scouting forever.

Yesterday I attended ceremonies celebrating a new Eagle Scout.  I am honored to know him and his family, and to have been personally invited by him.  I loved my days in Scouting, as he has. Why has the "Pedophile Pope" gotten away with criminality thus far, while the image of Scouting has been besmirched?  Raw power globally.

Children are precious from the moment of conception.
